According to the Form Four National Examination Results of 2017, Fu nguni Secondary School (main government school at Pangani District) were; 30 students out of 65 scored Division 0, 25 Division Four, 7 division Three, while only 3 had division two and no one got division one. In relation to that, 12 girls which is equal to 32% out of 37 enrolled girls got division 0, 16 out of 37 girls (43%) got division Four. Girls are the most vulnerable group from any community unfavorable conditions took place. This failure will affect most girls than the boys.

Pangani Heartland therefore, intends to give skills training in tailoring and embroidery, fashion designing skills for sustainable livelihoods to 30 out of school girls from destitute families. With this skills training, girls will live with dignity by earning themselves at least 5,000/= TZS per day that to provide self-employment for daily income, hence to have necessary necessities and  capable to pay school fee for their growing brothers and sisters.
